I've come to realize that much of my day, thus my life, is lived on automatic 'GO' mode. Hmmm…. I'm not exactly sure why I tend to live this way. Is it avoidance?.... Is it that I prefer to live unaware and numb?... Or am I just plain old ungrateful? This art of 🛴🏎 zooming 🛵🚀 through both my day and life has often causes me to miss out on what God is trying to reveal to me.
Lately, I have found an age-old practice, that is used across denominations, to be extremely spiritually profitable and insightful. This Daily Examen, as its called, is contemplative in nature and encourages us to purposefully recognize God’s divine presence in specific moments of our day by daily asking ourselves 5 simple questions.
I’ve provided a short video I found, to help walk you through this simple process.
