.Deuteronomy 30:12-14
“It is not kept in heaven, so distant that you must ask ‘Who will go up to heaven and bring it down so we can hear it and obey?’ It is not kept beyond the sea, so far away that you must ask, ‘Who will cross the sea to bring it to us so we can hear it and obey?’ No, the message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it.”
Moses is talking to the people of Israel calling them back to return to the Lord and walk in His ways, and he says this simple truth “The message is on your lips and in your heart”.
How amazing that we serve a God that longs to be near to us. That longs for deep relationship.
Opening up His Word or simply whispering His name easily reminds us that God is near and his instruction is already stored up in our hearts. We don't have to search too far or too long to feel and experience moments with our Creator.
I encourage you to acknowledge the presence of God and remind yourself of the love and fellowship we get to share with him.
